NEHHDC's Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme at Gauhati University: Inspiring Future Entrepreneurs

NEHHDC organized the Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme at the Department of Women's Studies, Gauhati University, on March 3, 2025, to inspire students and foster an entrepreneurial mindset. Ms.Nandinee Kalita, former CII Director and motivational speaker, discussed entrepreneurship as a career. Mr. Ratul Kr. Das, IIE, NSIC, GT, ARIAS (Industry Sector) spoke on entrepreneurial support systems, while Ananaya Sharma, Founder of Yarn Glory, shared her entrepreneurial journey.  

Mr. Sharique Imdad Hussain (NEHHDC), Prof. Alpana Borgohain (Head, Department of Women's Studies, Gauhati University) and Shyamoli Mahanta (NEHHDC) highlighted entrepreneurship’s vast opportunities and societal impact. The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, where participants engaged with the speakers, seeking insights and guidance on their entrepreneurial aspirations. The enthusiastic participation reinforced NEHHDC’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship.
