Students from Assam Textile Institute and NERIM recently visited NEHHDC. During the visit, they explored the Textile Testing Lab and the Handloom Unit, gaining first-hand knowledge of the technical processes involved in quality control and the production of traditional handloom fabrics. These interactions provided the students with a deeper understanding of the critical role NEHHDC plays in promoting and preserving Northeast India's rich handloom heritage, while also equipping them with practical insights into the modern applications of these traditional crafts.
