Inauguration Of Purbashree Showroom

Guwahati, 2nd September 2024: NEHHDC inaugurated the newly revamped PURBASHREE SHOWROOM at Ambari, Guwahati. The inauguration was graced by Padmashree Smt. N. Sorhie from Nagaland and Padmashree Smt. Hemaprabha Chutia from Assam, two eminent figures who have significantly contributed to the preservation and promotion of Handloom products.

This new version of the PURBASHREE Showroom is designed to offer an enhanced experience, showcasing the finest handcrafted products from the Northeast region. The showroom will serve as a vibrant hub for artisans and handloom producers, connecting them with a broader market and enabling them to share their rich traditions and craftsmanship with the world.
