As part of the 78th Independence Day celebrations, NEHHDC proudly launched the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign, symbolizing our commitment to environmental sustainability and honoring our motherland. In this initiative, 78 saplings were planted across the Northeast Region by our dedicated NMPs, with a live session conducted to engage and inspire others in the act of planting.

We also inaugurated the Eri Silk Rearing Experience Center, a significant step towards preserving and promoting the traditional silk-making heritage of the region. A major highlight of the celebration was our acquisition of the prestigious OEKO-TEX® certification from Germany for our Eri Silk. This certification not only underscores our commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly practices but also paves the way for Eri Silk to enter the global market. The event also included the distribution of ESIC certificates to our employees, recognizing their contributions and ensuring their welfare. Through these initiatives, NEHHDC reaffirms its dedication to cultural preservation, environmental consciousness, and employee well-being.
