CONCEPT NOTE

Uttar Purvi Mahotsav Fashion Show is an exquisite celebration of the rich cultural tapestry of Northeast India, spotlighting the artistry and craftsmanship inherent in the region's handmade designs. The event seeks to feature the creative expressions of eight designers from Northeast India, each contributing to a kaleidoscopic display of fashion that merges tradition with contemporary allure.

The heart of this fashion show lies in the emphasis on handmade designs, manifested in both apparel and accessories. Array of dresses and accessories adorned with traditional Northeastern craftsmanship, featuring handwoven textiles, intricate embroidery, and indigenous materials. The runway will be a visual symphony, showcasing the authenticity and beauty of handmade excellence.

Key Features:

• Diverse Collections: Each designer will present a distinct collection that reflects the cultural identity of their respective region, creating a multifaceted representation of Northeast India's diverse heritage.
• Sustainable Fashion: The fashion show places a strong emphasis on sustainability, promoting the use of locally sourced, eco-friendly materials, and ethical practices in the creation of handmade designs.
• Interactive Showcases: In addition to the runway displays, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with the designers and witness live demonstrations of traditional craftsmanship, fostering a deeper appreciation for the artistry behind the designs.

 

SCOPE OF WORK.

1.   Scope of Work : Designers Expenses (Inclusive of Travel, Accommodation & Fees)

a) Fees with selected 8 designers from 8 states of NER for their creative contribution.

b) Coordination of travel logistics for designers, including booking flights, ground transportation, and other travel-related needs.

c) Procurement of suitable accommodations for designers and their assistants during their stay for the event.

d) Handling miscellaneous expenses associated with the designers' participation.

 

2. Scope of Work: 1 Choreographer Charges

a) Collaboration with designers to create cohesive and visually appealing runway sequences.

b) Planning and execution of model rehearsals to ensure a seamless and well-coordinated fashion showcase.

c) Providing creative direction to enhance the overall visual impact of the fashion show.

 

3.   Scope of Work : Make-Up Artist Charges

a) 5 Make-up artists for Collaboration with designers to create makeup looks that complement the showcased collections.

 

4.   Scope of Work : Model Charges (Inclusive of Travel, Accommodation & Fees)

a) Conducting casting sessions to select 30 models in alignment with the event's requirements.

b) Agreement on fees with 30 selected models for their participation.

c) Coordination of travel logistics and accommodation for 30 models.

 

5.   Scope of Work : Show Management Charges

a) Coordination of all logistical aspects, including venue setup, backstage management, and technical requirements.

b) Management of event staff, including ushers, security, and backstage personnel.

c) Ensuring the smooth Runway coordination, including model cueing and backstage transitions.

 

6.   Scope of Work : EMCEE & Entertainment Charges

a) Agreement on fees of 1 Emcee.

b) Coordination and booking of 2 entertainment acts in alignment with the event's theme.

 

7.   Scope of Work : Stylist Charges

a) Engagement of 3 stylists to enhance the overall look of the fashion show

 

PROPOSAL FOR SUBMISSION

Interested parties should submit a comprehensive proposal that includes:

• Company Profile: An in-depth overview of the organization, highlighting its background, extensive experience, and notable expertise specifically in the execution of fashion events.
• Event Concept: Provide an outlined narrative of the proposed concept and overall design for the fashion show. Creative vision, emphasizing how it aligns with the unique essence and objectives of the Uttar Purvi Mahotsav. Clearly articulate how the proposed concept contributes to the holistic experience of the event
• Portfolio: The agency/Curator in consideration is mandated to exhibit a substantial track record, specifically having orchestrated a minimum of 2 fashion shows at the international level and 5 fashion shows at domestic level.
• Consolidated Budget for all Scope of Work: Furnish a detailed and consolidated budget that encompasses all aspects of the proposed scope of work. Clearly delineate financial considerations for each scope, including but not limited to designer expenses, choreographer charges, makeup artist fees, model charges, show management costs, emcee and entertainment charges, and stylist fees. Ensure transparency and precision in presenting the financial framework of your proposal.

SELECTION CRITEARIA

The assessment and subsequent selection will be conducted with a primary emphasis on identifying the proposal will be based on least cost basis.
