NEHHDC launches its Mobile Retail Shop: Purbashree on Wheels

 

Commemorating the Swadeshi Movement, the National Handloom Day is celebrated in NEHHDC - Craft Promotion Center, Garchuk, Guwahati-781035. During the event, to take Purbashree – the brand promoted by NEHHDC for encouraging local crafts in handicrafts and handloom in the different roots of North East Region, NEHHDC launches its Mobile Retail Shop: Purbashree on Wheels. The innovative project has been funded by North East Council.

“For us, we see mobile as one of the three retail experiences we plan to offer, as we say it, in-store, online, on-wheels,” Brigadier R K Singh (Retd), Managing Director says. “There are limitations to all three but we feel the combination will allow us to maximize the reach of our brand.”
