Successful Conclusion of NEHHDC's Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program under ESDP Scheme of MoMSME
The North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd. (NEHHDC) proudly announces the successful conclusion of its Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Program (ESDP) under the ESDP Scheme of the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MoMSME). This program, spanning across 31 districts in the North Eastern Region of India, aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and empowering local youth.
Benefiting over 6000 individuals, the program facilitated the creation of cooperative societies, identified clusters for crafts and handlooms development, and established market linkages to enhance the competitive landscape. Dr. SriparnaBaruah, highlighting the significance of the program, emphasized its role in empowering the youth of the North East and fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship.
Shri Lokesh Kumar Parganiha, Deputy Director (1/C DCMSME), graced the event as the Chief Guest, commending NEHHDC for its efforts in nurturing entrepreneurship and empowering the local youth. He underscored the importance of such programs in driving economic growth and fostering innovation in the region.
