MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

BETWEEN

North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation

AND

ASSAM DON BOSCO UNIVERSITY

NEHHDC and ADBU will explore the possibility of establishing a state-of-the-art Design Development Centre for developing new handicraft & handloom products in a more scientific approach. NEHHDC will be the primary applicant for establishing the Design Development Centre, where ADBU will be associated as the mentoring institute. The Design Development Centre will consist of a skill development centre, product development centre, rapid prototyping centre. NEHHDC will provide training to the students of ADBU in rural entrepreneurship, will facilitate the students of ADBU in the field of service-learning, etc., which will add value to students and provide them with industry exposure.

The MoU has been signed by Brig. R K Singh (Retd), Managing Director on behaf of NEHHDC and Fr. Joseph Nellanatt, Pro Vice Chancellor on behaf of ADBU on 16-11-2021 at  Assam Don Bosco University campus, Guwahati, Assam, India.
