Medical Camp at Integrated Textile Park

The first ever medical camp for women weavers of “Integrated Textile Park” Bodoland Regional Apex Weavers and Artisans CO-OP Federation Ltd. was conducted on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2022 in Mushalpur Baksa, Assam by providing comprehensive health check up and free distribution of medicines were given to 94 weavers.
The medical camp was conducted by North Eastern Handicrafts & Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd.  in collaboration with Down Town Hospital, Guwahati with an aim to cover the weavers of each running unit at Integrated Textile Park. The initiative was a proposition of Brig.R.K Singh (Retd) MD, NEHHDC who believes that these skillful weavers can only continue to weave magic if they remain healthy.
