Market Development by Way of Digitalisation, Authentication and Implementing of Traceability in Handloom Sector of North Eastern State

An exposure visit was successfully organised by NEHHDC in support of district administration,Lohit district, Arunachal Pradesh. A total of twenty seven (27) artisans and weavers came for this capacity building cum exposure visit under the ongoing project of ' Market Development by Way of Digitalisation, Authentication and Implementing of Traceability in Handloom Sector of North Eastern State'. All the participants got a first hand experience of the onsite testing lab and design cum production centre at NEHHDC,Garchuk campus. There was also a one on one discussion on the needed interventions and necessary support. The team was also taken to 'Marvella Paam' for a practical experience of the weaving community. NEHHDC looks forward to many more such collaborative activities for the betterment of the Weavers and artisans of Northeast India.
