NEHHDC successfully organized a technical talk on “Protecting Intellectual Property for Competitive Startups” today at its premises in Bamunimaidan, Guwahati. The session witnessed active participation from 20 individuals representing diverse sectors, all keen on understanding the significance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in fostering innovation and securing business interests.
The workshop provided an in-depth exploration of key IPR components, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs. Participants gained valuable insights into how intellectual property protection can enhance a startup’s competitive edge and ensure long-term sustainability.
The session was led by Dr. Pankaj Kumar, DPIIT Chair Professor at the National Law Academy, who shared his expertise on the legal and strategic aspects of IPR. Additionally, the event was graced by the presence of Mr. Subhra Seal and Mr. Manoj Lihawe, both Deputy Directors at the National Productivity Council, who contributed their knowledge and perspectives to the discussion.
The interactive session allowed participants to engage with the experts, discuss real-world challenges, and understand the best practices for safeguarding intellectual property in their respective domains.
