Inauguration of NEHHDC mobile app by Hon'ble Union Home Minister & Chairman NEC Shri Amit Shah.

9th October 2022, today, during the 70th Plenary of the NEC Hon'ble Union Home Minister & Chairman NEC Shri Amit Shah launched the North Eastern Handicrafts and Handloom Development 
Corporation Limited (NEHHDC) Mobile Application, dedicated to the artisans and weavers of North East India, in presence of Shri G. Kishan Reddy Hon’ble DoNER Minister, Vice Chairman, NEC, 
and all the Governors and CMs of North Eastern States of India.

Through this mobile application, NEHHDC can register its artisans and weavers online, collect authentic data, issue Artisan Identity Cards, 
and will provide them with a unique Registration ID. This App will be able to provide training through specially designed online courses, 
will be able to redress grievances of artisans and weavers and also allow artisans to upload their products from the comfort of their homes. 
With this App, NEHHDC will be able to reach out and apprise them of important Government schemes and initiatives along with upcoming events, exhibitions and information about trade fairs.

This App is developed by Geekworkx Technologies (www.geekworkx.com), a leading software company in North East India, in partnership with NEHHDC. 
This App will give a great advantage in taking forward the work of our artisans and weavers of North East India to facilitate them with a better and larger audience.
