NEHHDC Commemorates 11th National Handloom Day

The North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd. (NEHHDC) celebrated the 11th National Handloom Day with pride at its Craft Promotion and Experience Centre, Garchuk, Guwahati.

The event was graced by:

Event highlights:

• Welcome and address by dignitaries

• Cultural performances by trainees under the SAMARTH scheme

• Felicitation of in-house artisans and production helpers

• Walkthrough of a curated display of traditional handloom and handicraft products from the region

This celebration reaffirmed NEHHDC’s ongoing mission to build sustainable market linkages, empower traditional artisans, and preserve the legacy of the Northeast’s handloom heritage.
