(NEHHDC) proudly marks its 48th Foundation Day, commemorating nearly five decades of dedicated service in preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Northeast India. Established on March 31st, 1977, under the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), NEHHDC has been instrumental in empowering artisans, reviving age-old crafts, and bridging the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern markets. With a legacy rooted in authenticity and excellence, the Corporation continues to stand as a vibrant platform for the region’s unparalleled handlooms and handicrafts, fostering sustainable livelihoods and cultural pride.
